Thoughts on the plane...

This morning we got up bright and early for the two hour drive back to München. Bayreuth doesn't have an airport unfortunately. The Enders once again prepared for us an lovely spread for Frühstück despite having once again been up late talking with us. I'm really tired after all we've done the past few days. Also, we should really have quark in the US. It's delish.

After goodbyes we sped down the autobahn toward München. Cara's done most of the driving and she's really enjoyed being able to drive long distances at speeds in excess of 100 mph without having to worry about cops. She was really hoping to find a t-shirt with the sign signifying the end of all speed limits:

The Wolverine slashes on any sign apparently mean an end to whatever that sign signifies. It took us a little while to figure this out. It's actually kind of amazing that they'll just rent you a car without even asking if you know what any of the road signs mean or even if you can read them! I suppose most of the signs are pictographic in nature, but many are quite different from what we have in the US.

More to come...
