La La Land

I watched La La Land on the plane as the sun rose over Greenland beneath us this morning. The story of that movie is real and poignant and musical in a way that really touched me. I really think I must learn to play the piano now. I don't have my guitar with me, so I can't play that, and Maxwell also left his saxophone behind. The mountains divided by glaciers running through the valleys of eastern Greenland are a sight to behold. Otherworldly. Exactly as they should be. A world only conquerable with the mind. There are duets in La La Land - duets aplenty. I hope to sing some with Cara once I introduce her to the film. Cara's always been self conscious about letting her beautiful voice shine though. I'm not sure why. We've left the Music City behind, but maybe the magic of Norway will give her the confidence to let it out. Now we're landing and it's time to put my laptop up.
