Over the Atlantic

I find myself over the Atlantic Ocean again. Fourth time this year. Leaving Copenhagen an hour and a half late, I'm rather fatalistic about catching my connecting flight that leaves 35 minutes after we land. We'll see. I'm going to Vegas for a week. The AWS re:Invent conference is the reason, and I'll be meeting some other folks from Critical Mix there. Should be an educational and fun week. Then I'm going to visit the folks in Hilton Head and Atlanta. Normally I pass the time on these flights by taking copious libations and napping, but I'm feeling rather plump after Thanksgiving. There won't be much time for running this week either. I'm extra comfortable on this flight anyway, because I managed to get an aisle seat and it's not a full plane so I've got no one next to me and nothing under my seat because there was plenty of room for my backpack in the overhead bin.

I brought my Norsk books along to study. I'm missing the final exams (written & oral) this week, but the administration let me reschedule for after we get back. I can almost understand what the SAS pilots are saying - sometimes I get it before he repeats in English, but other times it eludes me. I'll get there.
