A Bad Day for the Chickens

The nextdoor neighbors have a pitbulll. It is a mean dog. So mean that they keep it chained up inside of a fenced area all day long every day. This creature has a meaningless existence. This past week it has gotten loose twice and killed chickens. I'm starting to think I shouldn't let my children play outside. The dog ripped through the metal chickenwire on the tractor to get them. I am glad those remaining alive will be going to live on a farm down in Georgia. And here I'd thought we'd solved the issues after the massacre last spring.
