It's evening now, dark, and I'm sitting here typing at Starbucks.
I fought liking Starbucks for so many years, and now I keep
finding myself here. It's an easy place to get out of the house
to to get some work done I guess. It's also, I must admit, a
pokéstop now.
This past weekend we sojourned down to the ATL for some family
time before the holiday break ended for Maxwell & Zara. We
stayed with Grandma for the weekend and Alora & Brittan came
up from their apartment as well to spend Friday night. It was
really great to see Grandma, who is a terrific host even at 90.
She fixed us great meals, provided conversation, and put up with
all our crazy, including letting me talk through several
thousand pictures from our trip to Europe back in September.
While there we also completed three puzzles, spent time with my
brother and his family, the kids did some sledding on the frozen
grass, and Saturday night Grandma fixed a big family meal for us,
the Nicholases and Ray.
All in all we couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend!
