Lazy Weekend

This weekend has been a pretty slow one. It was Cara's first full week of work at UiB, so I kind of let her set the pace. None of that hike 10 miles up a mountain nonsense. We spent yesterday afternoon at Ikea. We took the free bus up there from the fish market and had lunch (yummy kjøttboller!) there at the cafeteria. Ikea makes more sense after having been to several Norwegian shopping centers. Then today we loafed around and took advantage of the sunshine swimming in the North Sea at the Nordnes Sjøbad. 13°C! I got stung by a jellyfish, but the kiddoes also brought goggles so we got to look at the starfish on the rocks underwater. Cara was unsure about the cold water at first, but after a few minutes she got used to the idea of swimming out there with me and Zara.
