Today was the end of the Sykkel-VM here in Bergen. It's been a fun week and a half living in the town holding this international event I'd never heard of before. We made some new friends, Bill & Katie, in town from the US for the event. And we saw some old friends, the Huses, who drove in from Oslo to see the grande finale today. I took a ridiculous number of pictures. We watched the women's final race from the top of Sandvikfjellet yesterday. With people here cheering on so many countries it reminded me of seeing the Olympics in Atlanta as a kid. |
