2 June 2020 This past weekend I finally got around to reading the short fairy tale Animal Farm by George Orwell. It was a well written allegory of how easily a well meaning revolution can be hijacked by men seeking power. At less than a hundred pages it was a pretty quick read and I'm glad I picked it up from the Bergen Bibliotek now that it's open again. If you have a warm afternoon to sit in the grass outside the barn and read, I definitely recommend. Perhaps it is more of a children's book though. |
