Sometimes the extra stress put on the human body during travel proves to much, and that, I suppose, is part of the reason I went down for the count yesterday with a stomach bug. I didn't get much sleep last night, so we enjoyed a lazy morning watching Marvel movies on the couch and playing with Jaxon. Dillon made me a light broth to drink and some cheese to eat. Hopefully I will be feeling better by our race this weekend. This afternoon I'm on my way to the big island, where I'm going to see a full on active volcano for the first time. At this point I'm not thinking much beyond making it to the hotel near Kona without running into any serious issues. The plan is to drive up to the park tomorrow and stay in the nearby town of Volcano.
