Seven years ago my Brittan was here. She walked through the Sforza castle and rode the train. I miss talking to her about her life. I miss helping her where I can and seeing her succeed. My experiences getting in and out of Canada really made me have trepidations about international travel. Then Alora went to London. And then Brittan just got on a plane to Europe without a plan or a significant budget. She had her friend Chanel to stay with in Madrid and a part time remote job writing copy. And she explored country after country until her 90 day visa ran out. Wow. I was inspired. Her mother and I joined her toward the end and we found the Wogsland farm in Telemark together. Like my visit to Barcelona last Summer, I watched Brittan's video before I explored this city. I hope she gets to vlog from Mars someday. I'll sure visit if I can. In the mean time I'm trying still trying to catch up with all the places she visited in Europe!
