The Pilgrimage

Much to the chagrin of those who think Paulo Coelho's books are mystic nonsense or popular drivel, I have enjoyed the ones I have read. While walking along the Camino de Santiago this week I read The Pilgrimage, which chronicles a journey of self discovery along the same route. This seems to be recurring theme of Coelho's books: a journey of self discovery with a little bit of magic thrown in. The Pilgrimage was no exception and I found it to be quite an entertaining and easy read.
