More Digging!
Brú na Bóinne Dig Day 25 July 2023 - Drogheda
On trench 3, where I'm digging, we scaled down our excavation area from 5X10 to 3x5 to focus on getting down to a context below the top soil.
Along the way I found another flint, unfortunately with the mattock whilst digging.
Trenches 1 & 2 made more progress, with the expected round feature appearing in trench 2 and trench 1 uncovering a stone platform (although this mind be a much more recent construction).
