Eithne Massey's Legendary Ireland has been in publication for twenty years and it's not hard to see why. The book has short chapters that describe an important place's geography and history and then recount a local legend. These tales are well chosen as are the places. It's a great way to see more of the island of Ireland than the average tourist has time to.
