7 December 2023 - Genève Today I find myself in the west part of Switzerland where the French live. They're gearing up for the celebration of a cantonal holiday commemorating a battle against the Duke of Savoy in the seventeenth century. That means stores are selling marmite. Ew, gross, an English person might say thinking it's their kind of marmite. It's actually a French word for cooking pot though, and these marmites chocolate cauldrons filled with sweets.
