Woke up in an apple orchard. Tried to navigate my way through a forest, but the Rhône ate the the trail. Literally. So I got a bit lost, but continued to follow the river. Chanaz is a beautiful town. I will come back here in my next life and rent a boat to go to the lake. Still, it was my first coffee in what seemed like forever but was in fact only 4 days. Provisions acquired I headed up up up the hill behind the city through the forest and into the vineyards. Vineyards look nice, but they are are hot as hell to walk through on a sunny day compared to forests. Still I managed through the heat of the day to Yenne, where after dinner I just decided that paying for a campground for the night was worth it for the shower. I took two, evening and morning, so it was a bargain.
