This holiday season I have been making a lot of cookies. One I've made several batches of but hven't written about here yet are sugar cookies.
Ingredients:- 225g butter
- 350 ml sugar
- 1 egg
- 650 ml flour
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking soda
- 1 packet of baking powder
- food coloring (optional)
- sprinkles (optional)
Mix the butter, egg and sugar. This is also the time to add any food coloring you might want. Then slowly add in the other dry ingredients and mix them in. Once thoroughly mixed, ball up the dough and put it on a floured surface to roll out withe a rolling pins. Cut dough into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet. Add sprinkles if desired. Bake at 190° C for 10 minutes.
