We have many great neighbors here in Sunnyvale, and here's one in particular we'll miss: Larry.  A single guy whose kids live with his exwife in Georgia, Larry is always happy to watch our kids running around in the courtyard. When Larry orders pizza he often gets an extra one for the kids. Larry also has cookouts every few months were he makes us all steaks and hotdogs for the kiddoes. Larry is like the glue that brings us all together, and we'll surely miss him back in TN.

I have been rather slow with the blog posting as of late because this week was the BaBar Collaboration Meeting and I had to give a presention on the work we've been doing with the DIRC. It went fairly well this morning, so I am catching up a little this afternoon on the blog posting. Presenting the work of such a large group of people is such a pain because they all have varying ideas about what's important to present. It almost becomes more of a political exercise than a pedagogical one. <I>C'est la vive.</i>
