Dear Mr. Romero,
I was ready to finally take the plunge and send you guys a check when you reminded me why I don't by saying "Tea Party-style
extremists who use fear and bullying to get their way". I am a part of the Tea Party. I write letters to my state and federal
representatives against the government takeover of healthcare just like a write them about repealing Don't Ask/Don't Tell. I
believe in the principle of nonviolent resistance to government oppression, and so do the others I have met in the Tea Party. I
know not all of them are atheists like me, but I do know that I have NEVER heard any of them advocating imposing religion on anyone.
I whole-heartedly agree with 90% of what your organization does, the main exception being advocating the legality of killing of
babies in the womb. I want to support you when you stand up against the government to protect our freedoms, but when you paint me and
others like me, whose main beef with the government is lost freedom and increasing taxation, as the enemy then I find it very
difficult.
Sincerely,
Bradley Wogsland
