Muscadelle

Muscadelle is a variety of the European grape species Vitis vinifera originally developed in France where is waning in popularity and usually used in blending. However, Muscadelle is also widely planted in Australia where is also used for blending, but also is made into a sweet wine called Tokay - a name used for many different wines in different parts of the world. In California the grape is also known as Sauvignon Vert.
