The Hessische Bergstraße is a Weinbaugebiet located in the mountains of Hessen. Until 1971 this region was
combined with the Bereich of Badische Bergstrasse as the single
region of Bergstrasse. Qualitätswein and Prädikatswein are produced here as well as Landwein in the Bereich of
Starkenburg.
