Sachsen, often called Saxony in English, is located in the southeastern part of Deutschland. It is itself a
Weinbaugebiet divided into two Bereiche and a lone Einzellage not located inside a larger unit. In 2006 several areas located
in Brandenburg were added to the Weinbaugebiet.
