Sforzato di Valtellina, also called Sfursat di Valtellina, is a wine grown in the Sondrio province of the Lombardian region. It is made from at least 80% Nebbiolo, the rest being other red varietals, and must have an alcohol content of at least 14%. It was elevated out of the Valtellina DOC to DOCG status on 19 March 2003 and must be aged a minimum of 2 years.
