Brachetto d'Acqui is a wine grown in the provinces of Asti and Alessandria in the Piemonte region. This DOC was created on 13 August 1969 and changed to DOCG status on 24 April 1996. Made from 100% of the Brachetto grape, this wine is required to have a minimum of 11.5% alcohol, or 12% if it's a Spumante
