Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato

Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato is a wine produced from the Cortese grape with not more than 15% other grapes. Grown in the Asti and Alessandria provinces of the Piemonte region of Italia, it was granted DOC status on 20 July 1979 with a minimum 10% alcohol. Spumante and Frizzante varieties are also made.
