Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco

Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco is made in the Asti province of the Piemonte region of Italia from primarily the Malvasia di Schierano grape with a "modest" amount of Freisa. It was granted DOC status on 20 September 1973. The Frizzante needs at least 10.5% alcohol and the Spumante at least 11%.
