Barbaresco

Barbaresco is produced in the region of Piemonte in the province of Cuneo. It is made from Nebbiolo and recieved DOC status in 1966 and DOCG status in 1980. It must be aged at least two years before release, or four years to be labeled riserva. It needs at least 12.5% alcohol.
