Roero is a wine grown in the Cuneo province of Italia's Piemonte region in the communes Canale, Corneliano d’Alba, Piobesi d’Alba and Vezza d’Alba. This area's DOC status was granted on 18 March 1985 and elevated to a DOCG on 7 December 2004.
