Canavese is a wine grown in the provinces of Vercelli, Turin and Biella in the Piemonte region. It was declared a DOC on 12 September 1996. The blends Bianco, Rosso and Rosato are made in this DOC as well as the specific varietals Barbera and Nebbiolo.
