Malvasia di Cagliari is a wine produced in the Cagliari and Oristano provinces of Italia's Sardegna region. It was declared a DOC on 21 June 1972. The Malvasia di Sardegna cultivar is used to produce the several varieties of this wine. Dolce Naturale (sweet) and Secco (dry) require 14% alcohol whereas Liquoroso Dolce Naturale and Liquoroso Secco require 17.5% and nine months of aging or 2 years to be labeled Riserva.
