Nuoro is a province on the island of Sardegna. Several IGT and DOC wines are made here in addition to Sardegna's only DOCG wine. Additionally, some IGT wines from the region may carry the name of the province on the label. In 2006 parts of the province became the new provinces of Ogliastra, Olbia-Tempio and Oristano.
