This is Gallo's Italian import Chianti which enjoys wide distribution in the US. By Italian law, a wine labelled Chianti must contain mostly Sangiovese grapes.

2006 tasting - This Chianti has a slighty flowery bouquet, very deep and drinkable flavor. Definitely worth picking up a bottle.
