Gabbiano's Chianti is a traditional blend of mainly Sangiovese grapes, with small amounts of Canaiolo, Trebbiano, and Colorino grapes. As such, it enjoys a DOCG rating.

2006 tasting - This is a dry and thick, very drinkable red wine. Definitely worth picking up a bottle.

2007 tasting - This clear red Chianti has a deep, fruity bouquet coupled to a light, very drinkable flavor. Perfect with pasta marinara.
