Bianco dell'Empolese

Bianco dell'Empolese is a wine grown in the Firenze province of the Toscana region. Specifically, it is within the borders of the communes Empoli (hence the name), Cerreto Guidi, Fucecchio, Vinci, Capraia, Limite and Montelupo Fiorentino. This DOC was created on 18 April 1989 and is made from a minimum 80% Trebbiano Toscano. The Bianco requires a minimum 10.5% alcohol while the Vin Santo requires 17%.
