San Gimignano

San Gimignanois a wine grown in the San Gimignano commune of Siena. This DOC was declared on 8 August 1996, just a few years after the Vernaccia di San Gimignano wine became a DOCG. The two denominations share the same territory. This DOC encompasses a variety of blends: Rosso, Novello, Rosato, Vin Santo and Vin Santo Occhio di Pernice.
