Montefalco Sagrantino

Montefalco Sagrantino was DOCG'ed out of the Montefalco DOC on 5 November 1992. It is made with the Sagrantino grape in two styles: (1) Secco, requiring 13% alcohol, and (2) Passito, requiring 14.5%. Both must be aged at least 30 months.
