Auvillar - Lectoure Via Podiensis, France Trails Index | Via Podiensis

This long section starts in Auvillar on the heights above the Garonne river. There are a number of small towns along the way, but in late August it's past the season for tourists and there's not much open. So the best bet is to power on through to Lectoure, which is a decent sized town where one can find excellent French cuisine.
