Tweet This long section tranversesmuch beautiful farmland. The first highlight is the medieval walled town of Larressingle. Then there is the Site paléontologique de Béon, which is a 17 million year old Miocene dig still in progress with a permanent canopy. The town of Montréal-du-Gers is fairly modern and large enough to find a meal. After that is the excavated Roman villa at Seviac which was occupied between the 2nd and 7th centuries. Then it's just another 13 kilometers to Éauze. Hiked:
