Conques - Livinhac-le-Haut Aveyron, France Trails Index | Via Podiensis

Taking the bridge across the creek at the bottom of the valley, one immediately starts the climb up the other side which is steep! At the top there fields and it flattens out to rolling hills to the town of Noailhac. There is a restaurant and store there. Then there's another short uphill climb before the descent to Decazeville. This is a large town with stores and restaurants. Finally there is one more hill to get over to the Lot river where Livinhac-le-Haut is on the other side. There is a good place to swim in the river here.
