Lygra Vestland, Norge Trails Index | Heathland Center

Lygra is home to the Heathland Center, where sheepfarming techniques predating the industrial revolution are preserved. Rather than forests like those on the surrounding islands, Lygra has heather that is tended by volunteers and eaten by a flock of sheep of an old Norwegian breed.
