This segment of the Alpine Panorama Trail starts high above the Walensee in the town of Amden. Views from the meadows there are breathtaking in Spring. Then it's a steep path with steps, a Treppenweg, down to the road to the lakeshore. In Weesen the path joins the Linth river and follows that to Ziegelbrücke. There one crosses the Linth and then the trailgoes to the southern edge of the valley and follows that to Ussbühl. Then it is towns and flat fields to Siebnen.
