Last Night No Kids

Tonight we're sitting at Kay Bob's waiting for the notary public to join us for closing. It's a romantic end to our week sans enfants, n'est-ce pas? This closing has been put off half a dozen times, including from 1 to 6 to 7 tonight. We'll see if it doesn't get put off again. Still, reallocating some of the capital from our rental property to more lucrative investment makes sense as our return percentage from rents has diminished as we've paid down that mortgage. Pundits like Dave Ramsey poopoo the value of leveraging perhaps because they don't understand the value of risk properly, but then again Wall Street history of the past 20 years doesn't exactly sing their abilites to price it either.

Cara is totally obsessed with pokémon. She's on level 12 and playing the game next to me at the table because there's a nearby pokéstop. It's kind of annoying. Last night I got out of the car and walked home when I go tired of driving around parking lots and parks after midnight on the way home from the Star Trek IMAX marathon. Beyond is awesome by the way.

10 minutes until our supposed closing time and it hasn't been postponed yet. Maybe it will happen? Maybe?
