                Today one I saw
                a post
that reminded me of a mantram which bears more repetition:

                Life is LARPing.

This simple truth removes for me the pretensions from pretending.
Michelle, a friend and fellow artist from Nebraska, reminded me
by choosing to dress in a way that expressed herself. She called
it over the top, but with a touch of fashion from the Indian
subcontinent it just brought forth more of her inner beauty. I
wish more people would do more pretending on purpose. Try something
new today just to see if it fits. Relax a constraint you've
placed on your life and maybe you'll realize you didn't really
                need it after all.

How 'bout' I'm a puppy that can fly. Kids have so much of
an advantage over ourselves because they allow themselves to
pretend they're whatever they want. Adults often have a narrative about
themselves that they try to adhere to. They don't do these things.
They always do others. This or that adjective defines them. Words
can box us in if we let them, restricting us from a world of
                possible experiences.
