Uh-will the wind ever remember the names it has blow in the past?
And with this crutch, its old age
And its wisdom it whispers, "No, this will be the last"

Today is the darkest day of the year, the start of Winter. Going forward every day will be longer, pushing back the darkness until the wend of the solstice comes around again. My feelings on this day of darkness are mixed. My Fall was exciting, but now that is all over. I'd hoped to be employed by now, but my intent on finding a larger, profitable company to work for rather than another startup has meant a longer hiring process. Prospects are still bright and moving forward on the jobhunt though.

Odd thing just happened to me at Starbucks. I'm sitting at a large table were there are two groups of plastics and where there were seven empty seats. A woman just sat down right next to me rather than any of the other 6 seats which would have put her next to one of the plastics. Apparently giant bearded flannel man is less scary than plastics? How odd...
