Back From Vacation

It always feels good to dive back into work after vacation. I am fortunate in having a great team that kept things running while I was gone. I also have more perspective having seen so many sites I've read so much about. Tonight I talked to a to Greek in my Norwegian class about his country and I think he was a little taken aback by the intensity with which I pursued knowledge when I was there. I also got to experience another take on Scandinavian culture firsthand in Stockholm, which has led me to a greater understanding of Norwegian. No culture exists in a vacuum and it is often through our differences that we can gain a greater understanding of ourselves.
