Beginning 2021

This year started off, as they often do here, with a spectacular fireworks display, this year watching downtown Bergen from across the fjord. Considering the past year it was unsurprsingly a boisterous display, including unsanctioned professional fireworks from the Hurtigruten ships sitting idle in the port. Several houses were lit fire to in various places throughout town in the process, but the world still seems brimming with excitement for 2021!
