We're in Kristiansand for the national championship tournament of baseball this weekend. We won a couple games yesterday which has put us in the final today. Should we win we'll be national champions. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would find myself in such a situation at 42. That's not true. As a kid, as an American kid I assumed like so many that I would being playing baseball professionally as an adult. But somewhere in college watching Braves younger than me in the major leagues I realized that this dream was unrealistic. "Unrealistic". A failure of imagination really. Life presents us with so many opportunities.
