I got up this morning after a restless night. I was sleeping in dad's room so someone would be there if he needed anything. He didn't, but mom came in several times to check on him and talk to him. We don't know when he's going to go and it could be any day now. Dad always notices when I get up, so I said good morning to him as I got out of bed. Poor guy is confused a lot of the time, especially when he first wakes up. He asked me to turn on the light and I obliged. Once dad looked at his clock and I told him that it was okay to sleep some more he let me turn off the light and closed his eyes again. Mom also got up then and took the dogs out to pee while I got their breakfast ready. Often mom lets me get up and take care of the dogs, but she had a restless night as well. After feeding them I showered and headed down to the beach with my old lady and dad's puppy. Zinny enjoys this beachlife retirement that she's found herself in. Duchess isn't two years old yet and relishes running and splashing and digging and rolling and chewing and all the other things a dog can do on a beach. There was a good breeze chopping up the surf and dolphins jumping around feeding in the waves. It was high tide as well and I walked barefoot through the water bathing in the Nature all around me.
