ReppischtallaufLast Blog | Index | Next Blog Books | Cantons | Project Ninety | Training 30 January 2022 - Stallikon ![]() My first race in my new hometown of Zürich was today's Reppischtallauf. I managed a five and a half minute pace, which is pretty good for having Covid just a couple weeks back. Today's race was only 8K and mostly on roads, although being Switzerland they certainly weren't flat. Races in Switzerland are a little different, but the small town odd distance ones are still a favorite. You can tell it's a big community event here in Stallikon, and there were plenty of kids. One little girl kept passing me on the downhills and straightaways because I kept passing her up the hills she walked. A guy who I ran with most of the way gave me a high five at the end. My time of 43:32 isn't Earthshattering, but I'm still proud of it! ![]() ![]() |
