This week I'm a bachelor at home with the dogs and cat while Iwona wends her way northward on the Caminho Português. In solidary Sunday the puppies and I walked an alternate Camino route down by the Zürichsee. As afternoon turned to evening we stopped at a bar to charge my phone and who should be playing guitar but the owner of the Pizzaria across the street from where we live in Adetswil! His wife quickly noticed me and bought me a beer and we chatted about his music career (still just a side hustle). I am admittedly jealous. My on-again-off-again relationship with music has been mostly off the past couple years until I finally bought myself a used guitar last month and started playing again. It's nice to feel my fingers growing callouses and I still remember how to play songs I learned when I was 10.
