Bill Maher is someone who's opinionated voice I enjoy. Opinionated voices feel more honest, and with him I don't think it's an act. I've mentioned his "Club Random" program before in this blog as I often find myself enjoying it. Enjoying it more even than his scripted TV show. The most recent episode included Seth MacFarlane. Apparently they're old friends but disagree strongly on the Covid vaccine. Imagine that - friends who disagree! Since we're now in Dry January I didn't join them, and on longer shows like this one they're tipsy by the end. As it often does, this led to singing. MacFarlane is a crooner, so Maher started into a Sinatra. A Sinatra I didn't recognize. Being bachelors they both relate to Sinatra's A Man Alone, which I was not familar with. I'm so glad they shared it. The album perfectly compliments this cold, grey January afternoon.
